I look forward to actively expanding my knowledge through attendance at professional conferences, seminars, webinars, college fairs, and through college visits, meetings with admissions officers and fellow consultants, and independent research. In addition, I am a member of the Independent Educational Consultant Association Talklist, which allows members to inform one another; and I follow a number of college related news feeds and social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Pinterest. 6/5/2015 - Attended "Red Shoe Fashion Show", an event sponsored by BWNICE (Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education). This is our annual fundraising event for our charity, "SAFE in Hunterdon" which provides shelter, counseling and advocacy for families affected by domestic violence.

5/17/2015 - Spent the afternoon in Cambridge, UK with a University of Cambridge student. Went punting (guided boat tour) on the River Cam to see 7 of the 31 colleges that make up the University of Cambridge and learn about the University.

3/23/015 - Attended a Breakfast Presentation in Princeton by Admissions Staff and Alumni of Lynn University (Boca Raton, FL). Lynn is one of 5 designated Apple Connected schools in the country, offering personal, innovative learning and strong DII sports.
3/11/015 - Attended an all day seminar, "Calming the Overactive Brain", presented by Bill M. Kelley, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences and of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at Dartmouth University. Seminar sponsored by the Institute for Brain Potential.
3/10/2015 - Participated in an online Parent Meeting with MIT Staff to discuss new initiatives and future plans to enhance mental health and support services on campus.
3/4/2015 - Attended a presentation by Will Houghteling, of Minerva, a new, innovative, accredited college program where an international mix of students spend their semesters in 7 cities around the world getting an education intended to rival the Ivies.
3/3/2015 - Attended a University of Maine Alumni Dinner Meeting with President of the Alumni Association,Todd Saucier; Dee Gardner from the UMaine Foundation; longtime Football Coach. Jack Cosgrove; Athletic Development Director, Seth Woodcock; and current student, Tim. Learned about many student opportunities to do research and participate in the SPIFFY Investment Fund as well as the support provided to athletes. There are 17 NJ students on the UMaine Football Roster.
